This year is an All England Qualifying year

 

​We will be using "Play & Perform" online entry system from this year going forward.

​

INFO RE ENTRY:

Play & Perform will open on Monday 3rd February 2025 for you to create a dance school account and register your pupils in advance of entries going live on Sunday 9th February 2025. 

Once entries reach our limit for the 7 days – the online booking system will be closed.

NO ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN BY POST

There must only be one entry per school (unless they are the only entry from their school).  

Please make your payment by BACS on the day of entry, the bank details will be available on checkout along with reference number to add when transferring funds  for entries (same bank details as previous years).

THE BRITISH FEDERATION OF FESTIVALS-

We ask you to complete your entries promptly as they will be registered on a first come first served basis, and no late entries will be accepted now due to the BOPA licences that have to be provided from the Child in Employment Services with logged performances of dances in advance of the event.

The BOPA child licence information will be sent to all Teachers and Festival organisers that have entered their pupils after the closing date. Each competitor has to be registered with the Council that the Festival is held, giving full information of the child, dances performing and the chaperone or parent that is bringing them – for Canterbury Dance Festival  it is the KCC.  We will send you our BOPA number before the festival for you to register for your own BOPA with KCC.

Music - this will be uploaded digitally to the booking system.  The date to ensure all music is uploaded is Monday 30th June 2025, after this date you will not be able upload or change music.  You should still bring a CD/Phone as backup.
