Once entries reach our limit for the 7 days – the online booking system will be closed.

Please bare with the online system - if everyone goes on the system at once, sometimes it gets over loaded. Please wait a few moments and try again.

NO ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN BY POST

There must only be one entry per school, no private entries (unless they are the only entry from their school).

3 days after the entries have closed you will be sent an INVOICE – this must be paid by BACS within 5 days of receipt of this.  Failure to do so will result in cancellation of entry into the festival.       

 

Please note that all sections are now in line with the ALL ENGLAND DANCE COMPETITION.

 

*Please note that for 2024, there will be groups at the festival, including vocal groups*

                                                                                                                                            

We ask you to complete your entries promptly as they will be registered on a first come first served basis, and no late entries will be accepted now due to the BOPA licences that have to be provided from the Child in Employment Services with logged performances of dances in advance of the event.

The BOPA child licence information will be sent to all Teachers and Festival organisers that have entered their pupils after the closing date. Each competitor has to be registered with the Council that the Festival is held, giving full information of the child, dances performing and the chaperone or parent that is bringing them – for Canterbury Dance Festival  it is the KCC.

Music - this will be uploaded digitally to the booking system.  The date to ensure music is uploaded by, will be confirmed at a later date.  You should still bring a CD/Phone as backup.
